CHRISTMAS IN THE GROVE

Holiday shoppers and gift givers from all over the State of Wisconsin are invited to "Christmas in the
Grove", a very special fine art and wearable juried art show featuring beautiful unique handcrafted
items created by over 36 artists from the State of Wisconsin. Lunch and other refreshments will be
available for purchase.
In addition there will be a raffle of three baskets, each valued at over $250.00, that are filled by items
created by participating Christmas in the Grove artists. Raffle tickets will be sold at Christmas in the
Grove sell for $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00. The raffle Drawing will be held On Sunday, December 4,
2011 at 4:00 pm at the Elm Grove Woman's Club. Three separate drawings will take place. You do
not need to be present at the Raffle Drawing to win. All winners will be notified by telephone.

High School students living in or attending schools in the Elmbrook area are invited to enter 43rd
Annual Art Competition. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to senior winners.
You do not have to major or minor in art to receive the award. In addition, one $250.00 art grant will
be awarded to a student in grades 9 through 11.
To enter the competition, students must submit three pieces of original artwork in any medium to the
clubhouse on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Attached to each piece of submitted
artwork, there must be an official entry form which are available through area art teachers or school
guidance counselors. Entry forms will also be available at the clubhouse on the night of registration.
On Wednesday, March 21, 2012, all of the submitted artwork will be reviewed by an independent
judge. This will be followed by a very special Reception and Art Show on Thursday, March 22, 2012

to name. In addition, beautiful hanging flower baskets, perfect for decorating your porch or patio, will
