Art Competition






March 20, 2012 - March 22, 2012


Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to senior students. In addition, one $250.00
art grant will be awarded to a student in grades 9 through 11

The recipients of the Elm Grove Woman's Club's 2011 Art Scholarship Competition were
announced at a Reception and Art Show on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Elm Grove
Woman's Club.

In the Senior Art Competition, $1,000.00 College Scholarships were awarded to:
    • Margaret Flatley - Brookfield Central High School
    • Willow Hong - Brookfield Academy

In the 9th - 11th grade Art Competition,  a $250.00 grant was awarded to:
    Shannon Cashin - Brookfield East High School

Their artwork was displayed at a Elm Grove Woman's Club's luncheon on April 5, 2011
and at  the  Elm Grove Woman's Club's 50th Annual Grove Art Festival!

Competition Recipients
ELIGIBILITY
SENIOR ART COMPETITION

All 12th grade students who live:

  • In or attend school in the Elmbrook School District may compete for the Senior Art Competition.
    To apply, students must have applied for admission to an  accredited university, college, art or
    technical college. You do not have to major or minor in art to receive the award.
    or
  • Outside the Elmbrook School District but attend school in the Elmbrook School District may
    compete for the Senior Art Competition. To apply, the student must have applied for
    admission in an accredited university, college, art or technical college. You do not have to major
    or minor in art to receive the art scholarship.
ART GRANT

    All 9th, 10th and 11th grade students who live:

  • In or attend school in the Elmbrook School District may compete for the Art Grant.
    or
  • Outside the Elmbrook School District but attend school within the Elmbrook School District may
    compete for the Art Grant.
